Barbados awaits result of Cuba match after historic win

Anguilla (0-1-0, 0 Points) in Group C play at the Pedro Marrero Stadium Havana, Cuba on Thursday. This is Barbados first ever appearance in the competition and first win. Kyshona netted the game decider in the 53rd minute to give Barbados the winning 3-2 lead. Caribbean Group C action concluded yesterday with Cuba (1-0-0, 3 Points) hosting
Anguilla. The winner of Group C will join Jamaica (Caribbean Group B winner) and Trinidad & Tobago in the CONCACAF Womens Under-20 Final Round along with Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua and USA, with the venue and dates to be announced in due course, where three nations will advance to the FIFA U-20 Womens World Cup Chile 2008.
In Group A, Trinidad & Tobago progressed to the final Round after defeating visiting US Virgin Islands in the final game of the Caribbean First Round Qualification Group A at the Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya on Thursday.
Kennya Cordner and Mariah Shade scored three goals each for Trinidad & Tobago (2-0-0, 6 Points) in the 11:0 victory over the US Virgin Islands (1-1-0, 3 Points). The win also gives the Soca Princesses first-place in Group A after they defeated Grenada (0-2-0, 0 Points) last Tuesday.
