Re: LLoyd’s Bed and Breakfast
![]() Choose from one of our charming, intimate rooms, each with its own unique décor. Each room is outfitted with a T.V., ceiling fan, A/C, en suite bathroom, beautiful bed linen and well-chosen works of art. Internet services are available on site. Smoking is allowed on the verandahs and on the grounds only. Vintage This room is located in the oldest wing of Lloyd's Bed and Breakfast and captures the vintage of a long-gone romantic era. A queen-size bed, long graceful curtains, gentle swags and soothing tones of watery green provide a backdrop of calming elegance. The Premier's Room Bright, airy room with a view of the Caribbean Sea in the distance. Old world prints and maps not only add to its inviting décor, but also give the unwary traveler a sense of the island's history and evolution. Creole bed skirts and pillow shams take their inspiration from island traditional wear vaunted in parade. Miss Simone's Boudoir A generous king-size bed takes center stage against a faux-stucco backdrop. Antique furniture, old world prints and Creole bed skirts create a cozy atmosphere charged with romance and nostalgia. Mr. Gordon's Room Soothing tranquility like a dreamy afternoon on an open porch is the mood of this room. Cool greens, energizing yellows and nurturing browns are nature inspired. Banana Song Crisp, fresh and refreshing is this nature inspired room. The décor is elegant simplicity with traditional references. Banana Song overlooks swaying banana leaves and an imposing Flamboyant tree that protects a traditional rock oven dating back to the 1930s. Enjoy sweeping island views and the Caribbean Sea in the distance Isaiah's Room and The McNally's Room Off the main verandah are these 'sea and surf' inspired rooms. Just outside these rooms is an intimate lounge with its own balcony. Each room is outfitted with two single beds; the entire wing is ideal for a group of four. Serenade and Moonstruck Secluded from the main house on the upper level, these 'Romance' inspired rooms lend themselves to the enjoyment of calm, starry nights from the generous terrace that adjoins them. Nights that could deliver romantic notions spurred on by soft sweet music find representation in décor. Terrace View ![]() |

We've been around the world a few times, and Lloyd's isthe most wonderful place we've stayed. It's warm and friendly, all the staff are fantastic and we love the homely, safe feeling there. The location is great - a short walk to The Valley, and 2 minutes to one of the most private and secluded beaches we've ever seen. We love the interior design, its clean, modern and professionally done. It is overall a unique and truly wonderful place.

My husband and I recently spent a week at Lloyd's Bed and Breakfast. My sister and her husband, and their son and his wife were there with us. We all found Lloyd's to be a very pleasant, relaxing, and friendly place to stay. The living and dining rooms rooms gave us a place to congregate and visit. Hosepha helped us settle in. Merline greeted us every morning and started our day with a very nice breakfast which we enjoyed while visiting with Rita and George. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommemd Lloyd's to anyone looking for a friendly, relaxed, homey atmosphere. Our thanks to Maris and David.

I have been coming to Lloyd's for 11 years. I first heard about the place because as a woman I needed a 'safe' place to stay...One of the best things is that it's like being in an Agatha Christie novel - you never know who you will meet in the lounge or at the breakfast table. No matter what time of year that you come there, all kinds of interesting people come through the doors... And maybe one of the biggest items, at least for me, is that you get your privacy - you can leave your items in your room and not worry. The workers, Merline and Hosepha are always polite, helpful and just plain fun.
As you can probably tell, I am a fan and consider everyone there friends. |

I have been coming to Lloyd's Bed & Breakfast every year for at least one
month since 1987. I now spend four months a year at Lloyd's and have been doing so for about 10 years. I love the homey and friendly atmosphere which is not at all "hotel-like". It is totally relaxing and stress-free. The other guests are congenial and surprisingly cosmopolitan. The number of repeats is high. I am an avid snokeller and the snorkelling from Crocus Bay to Little Bay is the best I've found anywhere else I've been. |
